Celebrate the Small Things

Celebrate the Small Things is an awesome weekly reminder to celebrate the positive stuff in our lives, even if it's just small stuff, and is hosted by the lovely Vikki.

1. I'm getting through a cold. It's given me another reason to stay at home and pound on the keyboard.

2. I think I'm almost ready for the Champion in the Darkness release . . .almost.

3. I learned how to use Rafflecopter. It's easy.

4. I finally realized that I'm terrified of writing guest posts, and why. This is actually a good realization because now that I can see my fear, I can kick it's rear and get the posts done.

5. Tara Tyler gave me the Liebster Award!!! Very sweet! (I've received it before, but I don't think I have it posted anywhere and I'm happy to answer the questions again)

Don't forget to Overcome Adversity this Monday and Tuesday with Nick Wilford's Overcoming Adversity Blogfest!
Scattergun Scribblings

Have you signed up for A to Z? I have, and I'll be posting the A to Z of fencing and swordplay terminology, like so: A is for Assault, B is for Bout, C is for Conversation, D is for Disengagement, E is for Epee, F is for Foil, and so on. I'm excited and read for A to Z. Are you?

Once you get in the groove, guest posts aren't that hard.
I am all ready for Nick's bloghop!

I signed up for Nick's too. Take good care of yourself and beat that cold. And kick out the fears! :D

Glad you are feeling better. This has been a tough cold and flu season.
I'm ready for A to Z, well sort of...
You're right Rafflecopter is super easy!
Guest post?? Sounds fun and a tiny bit scary.

Scribbles - Thanks! I know what you mean about A to Z. I'm more prepared this year, but there's this fear that no one will want to read my posts . . .which is similar to the guest post fear. I must conquer it!

I can't wait to read your A to Z posts, that's an interesting topic! I have a couple in mind, haven't decided which one I'm going to go with yet.

Laura - Thanks! I've been worried that I'm the only one that thinks it's interesting. I'm looking forward to reading yours too.

When is your release? We have to get you scheduled on my blog some time for that. :)

I have yet to learn rafflecopter, but I will soon. Maybe.

Yay! I can't wait for the Champion release.

I'll be honest, guest posts intimidate me, too (I've only done one). I feel like I'm squatting in someone else's house.

Your small triumphs sound great! Waht is Z in the A to Z of fencing? 'Zut alors! J'ai manque' mon epee!' ? Sounds nifty!

I've just got my story ready for my own bloghop! You'd think I'd have it done ages ago, but no. Excited!

That sounds like a great A-Z theme!

What is a Rafflecopter? Glad you can use your adversity of being sick to kick in more writing! That's making lemonade, right? And getting to know and get rid of fears is a great thing to celebrate. Congrats on all your accomplishments!

I've signed up for both the A to Z and Overcoming Adversity bloghops.
Your A to Z theme sounds interesting...
I have no knowledge of anything Fencing-related. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Nothing.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I'll be taking part in the "Overcoming Adversity" bloghop on Monday. And as far as the A to Z Challenge goes...welcome aboard!! :)

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if
you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest
twitter updates. I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
